Winia Dimchae announced on the 27th that it has succeeded in developing a cryogenic freezer that can safely store all the vaccines of Corona 19, which are promoting domestic vaccination, and is aiming to launch within the first quarter.

Winia Dimchae recently applied for a trademark of’MEDIBOX’ to the Korean Intellectual Property Office and is also applying for 3 related technology patents. Daeyu Plus, a producer of kimchi refrigerators, is pushing for permission to manufacture medical devices with the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety.

Winia cryogenic freezer (aka Medibox) is a small cryogenic freezer with a capacity of 90L and weight of 65kg, and can store 18,000 vaccines per freezer.

The temperature can be set from -80°C to 10°C, so all vaccines scheduled for domestic vaccination can be customized. Each vaccine has a built-in menu so that you can select a different storage temperature, so you can set the optimum temperature without additional training.

In particular, if you use a separate battery pack by using an inverter compressor, it can be distributed and stored at an extremely low temperature for a certain period of time (1 to 2 hours), allowing you to form a small cold chain while maintaining the freshness and quality of the vaccine even in an emergency.

Since the temperature recording storage device is built into the freezer, it is possible to monitor temperature changes in real time during distribution.

In addition, Winia cryogenic freezers are small and can be transported in a van (VAN) vehicle or by cart. Since it can be moved while maintaining a low temperature, there is no limitation of movement of a medium-large-sized cryogenic freezer of 400L or higher that cannot use a separate battery pack.

Winia Dimchae has a smaller size and weight than a medium- to large-sized cryogenic freezer, so it can be safely and easily delivered to the final vaccination centers such as public health centers and local hospitals and clinics. I predicted it would.
