From April, post-payment will be possible with Naver Pay. In August, a service that allows you to purchase stock vouchers that can be invested in domestic and foreign stocks on an online shopping platform will be launched.

The Financial Services Commission announced at a regular meeting on the 18th that it has designated Naver Financial’s’small deferred payment service’ and Ebest Investment & Securities”stock gift certificate service using an online shopping platform’ as innovative financial services.

Deferred payment requires a credit card business license in accordance with the Specialized Credit Finance Business Act. However, from April, the Financial Services Commission gave Naver Financial a special case to allow deferred payment within the limit of 300,000 won per month. When purchasing goods with Naver Pay points, the difference between the remaining charge and the payment amount (inadequate payment) is repaid later.

This service was designated as an innovative financial service to expand’inclusive finance’. It is said that the convenience of payment for consumers is improved, and even financially disadvantaged groups such as young people and housewives who have difficulty using credit cards due to lack of credit can use Naver Pay like a small credit card.

The stock gift certificate service using an online shopping platform, which is scheduled to be released in August, is a service that allows you to purchase and present eBest Investment & Securities stock gift certificates on an online shopping platform. After registering this gift certificate on the eBest Investment & Securities online media (MTS·HTS), it is possible to invest in domestic and overseas stocks.

Until now, it has been impossible to sell stock vouchers on online shopping platforms. In accordance with the Capital Markets Act, you must obtain an authorization to engage in a financial investment business, as the act may correspond to an investment brokerage business. The Financial Services Commission has given special cases to eBest Investment & Securities in order to expand consumer opportunities for micro-investment and enhance access to financial products.
