The 7th anniversary ceremony was held to commemorate the 304 people who were killed in the Sewol ferry disaster in 2014.

The bereaved family once again tapped their frustrated hearts at the memory of that day, where only question marks remained.

A spring day in April when the sunlight was revealed through the dark clouds.

Each tree and flowers with spring rain show off their own light.

On the day when sorrow also became clear, the 7th anniversary of the Sewol ferry memory ceremony was held.

The Sewol ferry memory ceremony has been held every year since 2015 on April 16, the day of the accident.

This year’s 7th memory ceremony was held under the themes of memory, responsibility, and promise.

The memorial service continued with the silence of the 304 people who had not yet returned.

Why the ship on the sea tilted, and why the friends were not rescued.

The surviving student, who has become a twenty-five young man, asks a question once more.

[장애진 / 생존 학생 : 제 나름대로 친구들이 돌아오지 못한 이유를 알기 위해, 진실을 밝히기 위해 노력했다고 생각합니다. 하지만 7년이라는 시간이 지나도록 세월호는 마침표를 찍지 못하고….]

Most of the allegations that have already been raised have been concluded with no charges.

It’s still unclear who concealed the truth and who should be held accountable.

A memorial service was also continued in the memory class, which restored the classroom of Danwon High School, where the students’ hands were left.

We moved around because we couldn’t find space, and after going through twists and turns, such as suspicion of poor construction, we settled down on the 12th.

Danwon High School students walked around the classroom with a demeaning expression to commemorate their seniors and teachers.

The truth, which seems to be revealed by peeling off only one of them, is why it is so far away, and even those who watch it are frustrating.
