[사회]Jo Hee-yeon “Education for Myanmar Democratization Movement in Seoul Elementary and Middle School Students”

Seoul Superintendent Jo Hee-yeon said he would educate students in the Seoul area about the democratization movement in Myanmar.

The purpose of this class is to learn how individual practices affect society as a whole, and to cultivate global citizenship.

Myanmar, where the military coup took place in February.

Citizens stepped out to protect democracy, but more than 500 victims were killed by ruthless bloody suppression.

The Myanmar Democratization Movement, reminiscent of the Gwangju Democratization Movement, is distributed as educational materials to elementary and middle schools in Seoul.

The purpose is to cultivate global citizenship.

All training is conducted four times.

This is a discussion and discussion about understanding Myanmar and how citizens’ resistance movements affect society.
