Kim Ha-sung, who advanced to the major leagues, played an active part in the starting game that he first visited.

Kim Ha-sung played as second baseman and sixth batter in the match against Arizona.

At the end of the first inning, he made a hit by pulling a four-seam fastball from opponent starter Caleb Smith’s 7th pitcher at 2nd, 1st and 2nd base.

With this hit, second base runner stepped home, and Kim Ha-seong scored his first hit and RBI in his first starting match.

Kim Ha-sung did not stop here.

Ha-seong Kim, who came out as the lead batter at the end of the 3rd inning, struck Smith’s 3rd four-seam fastball and made a hit that fell in front of the left fielder.

However, he couldn’t score because of a follow-up miss.

Afterwards, Kim Ha-sung struck out at the end of the 4th inning and retired to first baseman foul fly at the end of the 6th, and was replaced before the 7th inning defense.

Kim Ha-seong, who appeared in the opening game on the 2nd with a pinch and turned to strikeout, left a strong impression on the coaching staff by recording 2 hits and 1 RBI in 4 at-bats in the first starting match.

“It’s hard to get used to everything in less than two months after playing in Korea for 7 years, but baseball is the same, so I want to adapt as quickly as possible to help the team win…”

San Diego defeated Arizona 7-0 by focusing 10 hits, including Manny Machado’s solo home run.
