On the 27th, the late founder Shin Chun-ho, the founder of Nongshim, died on the 27th. His younger brother, Shin Joon-ho, chairman of Purmil, visited him, and his nephew, Shin Dong-bin, chairman of Lotte Group and Shin Dong-ju, chairman of SDJ Collaboration, expressed their condolences in harmony. In particular, Chairman Shin Dong-bin is located next to the photo of the deceased Young-jeong, and attention is being paid to whether Nongshim and Lotte Group will resolve the conflict that has been going on for half a century and reconcile.

Chairman Shin Chun-ho passed away from a chronic illness at 3:38 am on the 27th. The funeral is held on a 4-day market, and the delivery is at 5 am on the 30th. Jangji is Sunyeong, Miryang, Gyeongnam. Vinso was prepared in Room 1 of the funeral hall of Seoul National University Hospital, Jongno-gu, Seoul at 2 pm on the 27th. Both three boys and two girls were listed in Sangju.

His first son, Dong-won Shin, his twin brother, Dong-yoon Shin, vice chairman of Yulchon Chemical, Dong-ik Shin, vice chairman of Mega Mart, Hyun-joo Shin, vice chairman of Nongshim Planning, and Kyung-bae Seo, wife of AMOREPACIFIC Group chairman, Shin Yoon-kyung. He said that he did not receive condolences, and said,’I hope you will replace it with a wreath and a pastor’. The son-in-law, chairman of AMOREPACIFIC Group, Seo Gyeong-bae, arrived at Binso around noon. Chairman Seo presented a ramyun statue on the 50th anniversary of Nongshim’s founding in 2015. At that time, Chairman Shin Chun-ho installed this statue in the front yard of the headquarters of Nongshim.

Chairman Shin’s brothers are Shin Jeong-ho, president of Sansas Food in Japan, Shin Jeong-hee, vice president of Dongwha Duty Free, Shin Jun-ho, chairman of Purmil, Shin Jeong-sook, Shin Kyung-ae, and Shin Kyung-sook. During his lifetime, the deceased had a conflict with his elder brother Gyeok-ho Shin, honorary chairman of Lotte Group, but he was special with his younger brother, Purmil Shin Jun-ho.

Chairman Shin Joon-ho visited an empty place around 2:20 pm. My younger sister, Shin Jeong-suk, arrived at 3:40. During his lifetime, the deceased had a conflict with his elder brother Gyeok-ho Shin (1922-2020), the honorary chairman of Lotte Group, but he was special with his younger brother, Chairman Shin Joon-ho. Nongshim collaborated with Purmil to release’Indian Rice, Banana Kick, Chocolate Banana Kick Milk’. It also did not charge Purmil for the use of the brand.

Chairman Gyeok-ho Shin and Nongshim have a deep goal. In the early 1960s, the deceased, who led Lotte in Korea on behalf of his brother, who was active in Japan, had a conflict with his brother over the promotion of the ramen business. The deceased paid attention to ramen, which was very popular in Japan at the time, but Chairman Shin Gyeok-ho opposed it, saying that it was’prematurely’. Nevertheless, the deceased started Lotte Industrial and entered the ramen business.

As a result, the conflict between the brothers deepened. Chairman Gyeok-ho Shin asked his younger brother not to use the name’Lotte’. Eventually, in 1978, the deceased changed his name to Nongshim (the farmer’s heart) and turned his back completely. These brothers were enough to have their father’s rites separately. However, Chairman Gyeok-ho Shin refrained from entering the ramen market and kept the gold road between the brothers.

However, the two were not able to reconcile in the end. When Chairman Gyeok-ho Shin passed away in January of last year, Chairman Chun-ho Shin did not visit his brother’s vacancy. Only the eldest sons, Vice Chairman Shin Dong-won and Vice Chairman Shin Dong-yoon, found the slums.

There were no condolences from Lotte Group Chairman Shin Dong-bin and SDJ Corporation Chairman Shin Dong-joo, who are nephews of Chairman Shin Chun-ho, but a wreath is placed. In particular, the wreath of Chairman Shin Dong-bin is located next to the photo of the deceased Youngjeong, and attention is focused on whether to resolve the conflict between Nongshim and Lotte Group for half a century and reconcile.

Lotte Group Chairman Shin Dong-bin, his nephew, is staying in Japan. Considering the period of self-isolation due to Corona 19, it is not possible to attend the funeral. Chairman Shin Dong-bin’s elder brother, Shin Dong-joo, chairman of SDJ Collaboration, is also staying in Japan. The first visitor is Lee Sang-yoon, former vice chairman of Nongshim. In the same industry, Ottogi Chairman Ham Young-jun and Choi Eun-seok, CEO of CJ CheilJedang, mourned with wreaths.

In addition to SK Group Chairman Choi Tae-won, Hanwha Group Chairman Kim Seung-yeon, Doosan Heavy Industries & Construction Chairman Park Ji-won, Kumho Group Chairman Park Sam-koo, and GS Retail CEO Huh Yeon-soo also harmonized with business people. Bank of Korea President Ju-yeol Lee, KB Kookmin Bank President Heo In, Shinhan Bank President Jin Ok-dong, and former baseball player Park Chan-ho were also commemorated with wreaths.
