The rent for apartments in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, which continued to rise for nearly a year, turned downward after 45 weeks.

It is the appearance that the charter problem gradually subsides as the property is piled up around the expensive apartments where the rent for rent has skyrocketed in a short period of time.

This week, apartment rental prices in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, fell by 0.01% from last week.

After the second week of May last year, the uptrend, which had continued for 44 weeks in a row, has been broken and turned to a downtrend.

Along with this, the total price of Songpa-gu, one of Gangnam’s four districts, also fell in 50 weeks.

The weekly apartment rental price in Seoul rose by 0.04%, but the increase was less than last week.

After reaching a high of 0.14% to 0.15% at the end of last year, the rise has decreased until this month and is gradually looking for a calming trend.

Excluding Nowon-gu and Dobong-gu, Seoul, the rate of increase in rental prices in 23 districts was the same or lower than last week.

The Korea Real Estate Agency believes that the rental price has decreased as landlords who are in a hurry to lower the price due to the accumulation of high-priced apartments, where the rental price has skyrocketed for a short period of time.

The nationwide apartment sales price rose 0.24%, a slight increase from last week, while the metropolitan area increased from 0.27% to 0.29%.

In particular, it is analyzed that anticipation for the deregulation of reconstruction is growing ahead of the by-election of the mayor of Seoul, and the trend is continuing to rise mainly in complexes with relatively inexpensive housing prices.
