Regarding workers who are being dismissed due to COVID-19 situation, they said, “We must guarantee employment and increase jobs in the public sector” △Prohibition of dismissal during disasters △Expand state-responsible jobs △Corona 19 essential and risky workforce recruitment and safety enhancement △Before They asked for national social insurance. The union also proposed to establish the principle of regular employment of non-regular workers in the public sector, and to amend the trade union law entirely in accordance with the standards of the International Labor Organization (ILO) convention. They also called for the Ministry of Strategy and Finance to stop job-oriented wage changes and to expand and strengthen the safety fare system temporarily in effect for freight cars. The union plans to deliver the’Ten Requests’ to the government by April 30 and continue collective action until it is fulfilled. A union official said, “We will organize a general uprising with 240,000 members in the second half of this year and continue to conduct direct member actions.”
