It was confirmed that the suspect in the shooting at a grocery store in Colorado, USA, that killed 10 people, including police officers, was a 21-year-old male.

According to the Associated Press on the 23rd (local time), Boulder Police in Colorado said the suspect was a 21-year-old male Ahmad Al-Aliwi Alyssa.

The police charged the suspect with a first-degree murder charge. The suspect was shot in a firefight with the police dispatched during the shooting the day before. Immediately after his arrest, he was taken to a hospital for treatment and is now in a stable state, police said.

Alisa, an immigrant from Syria, also posted a post claiming that she was afraid because someone was aiming at her cell phone because of her hatred of Islam. He wrote on Facebook in July 2019, “If racist Islamic haters stop hacking my phone and let me live a normal life.”

The shooter’s family claimed that Alisa had an antisocial and paranoid mental disorder. The shooter’s elder brother Ali Aliwi Alisa said, “My younger brother suffered from a very antisocial damage delusion,” and said, “When I was in high school, my younger brother was being chased, someone was behind me, and he said that he was looking for me.”

A total of 10 people were killed in the shooting that day, including Officer Eric Tally and citizens aged 20-65.
