LH employees take the opportunity for end users of Sejong City’s’emperor special man’

The majority of LH employees received special supplies in situations where they were virtually unable to live. Moreover, it was confirmed that LH was the only case in which employees working at regional headquarters of public institutions received special supplies until 2019, and controversy over preferential treatment is also occurring.
There was also a case where an apartment was easily obtained through special supply while working at the Sejong Headquarters for over 4 months. LH employee A moved to the Sejong Headquarters in March 2012, won a special supply of apartments in May of the same year, received approval from the head of the affiliated institution, and was issued a special supply confirmation, which is a document to be submitted to the developer, and then moved out in July. It was confirmed that he left Sejong City.
In addition, seven employees were issued a special supply confirmation in the month they moved out of the LH Sejong Headquarters, and it was revealed that the employees who had already moved to another area and left Sejong City also received the confirmation.
In particular, it was confirmed that 63 LH employees received special supply from the relocation agency in 2019, when the period for special supply of LH Sejong Headquarters expired. The number of special supply winners from just 35 in 2018 has nearly doubled in one year.
However, it has been confirmed that 41 out of 63 LH employees who received special service as the last train in 2019 are not currently working at the Sejong Headquarters.
As a result of analyzing the real estate statistics data of the Korea Real Estate Agency, the average selling price of apartments in Sejong City, which was only 234.79 million won in May 2017, when the Moon Jae-in administration was launched, rose 131.9% to 542.42 million won in February 2021.
In addition, since more than half of the apartment sales volume in Sejong City is allocated first through special supply, the subscription competition rate for special supply apartments is only 1/20 of that of general sales, and special supply winners receive tax benefits such as exemption from acquisition tax.
Rep. Song Eon-suk said, “There is a fundamental problem in the system itself that includes special supply targets for employees of the branch offices of public institutions that work in rotation.
