Damyang-gun will begin vaccination against Corona 19 for residents over 75 years old from April 15th.

Damyang-gun (Gun Hyung-Sik Choi) announced on the 23rd that it will start vaccinating Corona 19 at the Damyang Cultural Center for 7,510 residents aged 75 or older.

Vaccination is performed with Pfizer’s vaccine, and for safe vaccination, people who are 75 years of age or older (born before December 31, 1946) who can move (by foot or by car) are given priority.

In case of discomfort or serious underlying disease, etc., this vaccination is not eligible, and residents who are subject to vaccination can submit vaccination consent form and consent to use personal information to the eup/myeon office of their address on resident registration.

The military has formed a response team for each town and village to proceed with the prompt and smooth consent process, and since the 18th, the village staff and the head of the village have visited the recipients to receive consent. In order to secure vaccines quickly, an intensive application period is operated until the 26th of this month, and applications are received by the 6th of next month.

Before vaccination, the vaccination date and time are informed in advance through text messages and village broadcasts, and the response system is established for more than 3 days after vaccination so that target populations can safely receive vaccination, and a response system is established with towns and villages, public health centers, and fire departments to ensure safety.
