The US and China held high-level talks in Alaska for two days, but the schedule was closed without a joint statement or announcement.

The two countries have directly discussed various pending issues, including the North Korean issue, but found no consensus.

Biden’s first high-level talks with the U.S. since the inauguration of the U.S. administration.

The tight flag fight lasted for two days and one night.

On the first day, everyone had a slanderous battle with each other, and on the second day, they continued their sermons.

US Secretary of State Blincoln and National Security Adviser Sullivan, China’s Communist Party Political Officer Yang Jietsu and Foreign Minister Wang Yi concluded the Alaska talks.

The two sides showed the limitations of the talks because they could not make a joint statement or press release.

“We had a difficult and straightforward conversation over a wide range of issues, and the US gave priorities and intentions and received a defensive answer from the Chinese side,” said Sullivan.

Yang Jietsu said the two sides had a fruitful conversation, but there were considerable disagreements.

Foreign Minister Wang Yi stressed that the determination to defend China’s sovereignty should be emphasized.

The United States said it had communicated its concerns about China, presented its principles, and had open conversations on conflict issues such as Hong Kong, Taiwan, Tibet, and Xinjiang.

The North Korean issue was also included in the dialogue.

Bloomberg reported that the US attempted to lower expectations before the talks, but the failure to make any announcements did not reach its lower targets.

Reuters assessed that this talk showed the depth of the conflict between the two major economies.
