Kim Ha-sung (San Diego Padres) scored his first RBI in the MLB in the demonstration game, where he returned after skipping two games due to his physical symptoms.

Kim Ha-sung started as shortstop 6 times in a demonstration game against the Chicago White Sox held at Peoria Stadium in Arizona, USA on the 17th (Korean time) and recorded 2 at-bats, 1 hit and 1 RBI. Kim Ha-sung’s batting average for the demonstration game was 0.150 (three hits in 20 at-bats).

Ha-seong Kim started the game with a mistake. In the first inning, the White Sox’s number one hitter Tim Anderson made a throwback. It is Kim Ha-sung’s first major league demonstration game error. Sand Ago made five mistakes that day.

Ha-seong Kim hit the end of the 4th inning. Immediately after pursuing 1-3 with Will Myers’ doubles, Kim Ha-seong made a heavy hitting at 2nd and 2nd base. It was initially judged as a mistake when it hit the opponent’s shortstop Tim Anderson’s glove and bounced. However, it was corrected by a hit and recorded as Kim Ha-sung’s first RBI.

Kim Ha-sung scored the first RBI with a 3 hit after 6 games since the Texas Rangers game on the 5th. Thanks to that, San Diego narrowed the gap to 2-3.

The inning ended with Kim Ha-seong being caught for a stealing failure in the next batter Lewis Campusano at-bat. The failure to steal is also the first record on Kim Ha-sung’s MLB stage. All three of the roads San Diego attempted that day were unsuccessful. In the demonstration game, he attempted to steal 21 bases, but succeeded 11 times. Ha-seong Kim was replaced in the 7th time.
