The number of newly confirmed coronavirus infections in Korea has not reached the 300-400 range for nearly a month. There are signs of re-proliferation, such as increasing the size of the confirmed cases, and the quarantine authorities are making a sense of it.

According to the Central Defense Countermeasure Headquarters (Bangdaebon) on the 17th, as of 0 o’clock the previous day, there were 363 new coronavirus cases in Korea. As the number of tests increases again as weekdays enters, the number of confirmed cases is expected to increase proportionately.

The recent epidemic situation by region is that, while daily infections of both large and small in various places in the metropolitan area are continuing, group outbreaks involving baths and saunas are spreading in Ulsan and Gyeongnam areas.
