Shinsegae Group took a step further in preparing for the regular season by confirming the color, emblem, and logo of SSG Landers’ club on the 12th.
First,’Charismatic Red’ was selected as the color symbolizing the club. It contains the meaning of red color, which contains’passion for victory’ and’intense charisma’. ‘Red color’ is a color that symbolizes Shinsegae Group and reflects the’fanity’ that Incheon baseball fans have requested to inherit the heritage of Incheon baseball.
In the main emblem, which was presented together, the image of a spacecraft landing in an’unknown frontier’ was imaged. At the top, the image of’landers’, one of the meanings of LANDERS, is landing on a new unknown frontier, and the new logo of SSG LANDERS is engraved in the center.
Shinsegae Group explained that it expressed the will to’to pioneer a new history of victory’ by introducing a professional baseball team that did not exist in the world.
In other words, as a new story has always unfolded after the discovery of a new continent and the historic landing such as the moon landing, Shinsegae Group will also change the game of Korean baseball through SSG Landers and create a new story of victory in Incheon.
The club’s symbol was decided as’L’s’, an abbreviation of LANDERS.
There is no club in the domestic professional baseball world that uses the symbol of the’Apostrophe S(s)’ design, but in the major leagues, Auckland Athletics is famous for using the abbreviation of the team name A’s as a symbol.
Shinsegae Group hopes that various events using Landers’ emblems and logos will become a medium of pleasant communication between teams, fans, and regions. It said that it will make sure there is no setback.
