Yesterday, as the east wind pushed fine dust into the West Sea, air quality temporarily recovered to a normal level.

Currently, the concentration of ultrafine dust in Seoul is 30 micrograms per hour and 26 micrograms in Gangwon, which is a’normal’ level.

Jeonnam, Gyeongnam, and Jeju Island are at the’good’ level.

However, from the afternoon, the direction of the wind changes to the western wind, and fine dust that has retreated to the west sea is introduced again.

The concentration will be thicker as smog from China is introduced here.

The air quality is poor in areas located in the western area of ​​the Taebaek Mountains, mainly in the metropolitan area, Chungcheong, and Jeonbuk.

The situation will get worse tomorrow, which is a holiday.

If you look at the screen, around midnight today, the air quality in the country is expected to be’bad’.

In the morning of tomorrow, it is expected to soar to the level of’very bad’ in Seoul, Gyeonggi and Chungcheong.

Therefore, there is a high possibility that measures to reduce high-density fine dust will be taken again tomorrow afternoon.

The fog is seldom clearing.

In Chungcheong and Honam provinces, fog is so severe that it is difficult to see even 100 meters ahead.

Even now, the visibility distance of Haenam, Jeollanam-do, is 60 meters and 70 meters of Nonsan, making it difficult to see one inch ahead.

With this thick fog, Gwangju Airport is expected to receive a low visibility warning until 10 am.

As thick fog is expected until the morning, please drive safely with a sufficient distance between cars.

The temperature is similar to today, such as 13 degrees in Seoul and 15 degrees in Gangneung, so it seems to be cozy.

There will be a place where raindrops fall in the late afternoon on the east coast with a lot of clouds tomorrow.

Strong winds are expected from the coast.
