Tottenham Hotspur manager Jose Mourinho was not satisfied with the win by two goals. It was the heart that I wanted to reach the 2nd round of the away with as many goals as possible in the first round held at home.
Tottenham won the match against Dynamo Zagreb (Croatia) in the first leg of the round of 16 in the 2020-21 European Football Federation (UEFA) Europa League (UEL) held at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London on the 12th (Korean time).
Tottenham, who recently won the first leg of the 16-finals in the excitement of five consecutive wins, has a favorable point for advancement to the quarterfinals. The second game will be held in Zagreb, Croatia on the 19th.
Tottenham’s solver Harry Kane scored the opening goal in the 25th minute of the first half, and scored a second goal in the 25th minute of the second half.
Son Heung-min, who started as a left-handed striker, was replaced by Lucas Moura after digesting until the 20th minute of the second half. It was a stone to prepare for the’North London Derby’ with Arsenal on the 15th.
After the game, coach Mourinho expressed more regret than joy of victory. “The 2-0 score is a good result,” he said, but if he scored one more goal, he would have been in a better position.
Director Morinho predicted that his trip to Zagreb would not be easy. “Zagreb is going to be comfortable in the bedroom because he has nothing to lose,” he said. “It will be a difficult game.”
Coach Mourinho praised goalkeeper Kane for scoring multi-goals this day.
He said, “Kane did all the roles a striker could do,” he said. “She scored, created space, and was good at all-round play and defense,” he said.
Director Mourinho repeatedly praised his performance, saying, “Carlos Vinicius is with us, but when Kane enters the pitch, the story is completely different.”
Meanwhile, Kane suffered a knee bruise in the opponent’s defense during the last minute competition in the second half and was unable to play full-time, and was replaced by Vinisius in the second half of the 39th minute. I noticed that I was icing my knees on the bench.
Director Morinho predicted that Kane’s knee injury would not be severe. Kane’s absence before the Arsenal match could be a fatal hit for Tottenham.
“I believe Kane’s injuries aren’t going to be big,” he said. “It’s a (important) game everyone wants to play against. A small injury won’t be able to stop him. I don’t feel that (the injury) is serious.
