The brothers and sisters of actor Yoon Jeong-hee (77) entered a legal dispute in Korea following France with Yoon Jeong-hee’s only daughter, Baek Jin-hee (44), over the status of guardianship.

On the 8th, the Seoul Family Court accepted an objection from Yoon Jeong-hee’s younger brother Son Mo (58) at the trial for the initiation of an adult guardian of Yoon Jeong-hee and decided to participate as a participant.

Adult guardianship is a system to support adults who need protection due to mental constraints. The guardian appointed by the court can provide a wide range of protections in daily life, such as managing the property of Jeong-hee Yoon, medical treatment, and deciding where to live.

Yoon’s younger brothers are known to have insisted on the court that their niece, Baek Jin-hee, is protecting Yoon Jeong-hee in France, but that he cannot do the best guardianship in relation to the protection of property and personal identity.

Earlier, on October 28, 2020, Paik Jin-hee applied for a mother with Alzheimer’s disease to appoint an adult guardian to the Seoul Family Court. Baek was already elected as the guardian of Yoon in France following a decision by a French court in November of last year.

Meanwhile, Yoon Jeong-hee’s husband, pianist Paik Kun-woo, returned to Korea on February 11 and is currently working on the scheduled domestic performance schedule. Immediately after returning to Korea, he rebutted against the controversy over the neglect of Yoon Jeong-hee raised by the Yoon Jeong-hee brothers and sisters, saying, “Yun Jeong-hee is living in peace,” and “We have no problem.”
