Hyundai Motor Company unveiled the design teaser of the first high-performance SUV’Kona N’on the 10th. Following the Veloster N, the first high-performance model in Korea, launched in June 2018, it continues the lineup of the N lineup.
The Kona N is a high-performance model of’The New Kona’, which was released in September last year. It has a presence by melting the aggressive and boldness of the N brand on top of Hyundai Motor’s design identity.
The front section has an exclusive radiator grill with the N logo and an N exclusive bumper to build a strong and sporty impression. Then, the performance red color, which symbolizes N, was applied as a point color, revealing the unique character of N. Also, N-dedicated performance wheels were also applied.
The rear part has a large-diameter exhaust port. In addition, it is equipped with a dedicated spoiler and a large diffuser designed for aerodynamics. At the center, a triangular auxiliary brake light, one of the characteristics of the N model, is applied to connect the high-performance N identity.
Starting with the Kona N, Hyundai Motor Company plans to introduce Avante N and Tucson N sequentially this year to make the N lineup more diverse.
