The management announced the news at Disney’s annual shareholders’ meeting, according to The Verge on the 9th (local time). Disney Plus subscribers exceeded 94 million in February.

Disney executives also initially predicted that Disney Plus would have between 60 and 90 million subscribers by 2024, but the company surpassed that goal in a short period of time.
The management did not reveal the reason for the number of Disney Plus subscribers exceeding 100 million, but the media analyzed that the success of the Marvel original series “Wanda Vision” and the animation “Raya and the Last Dragon” might have driven this.
