The last hope was also a vain expectation. The U.S. Supreme Court has dismissed the appeal on the last case of the “validation of the presidential election” lawsuit filed by former President Donald Trump. Former President Trump’s allegation of election fraud over the past four months since November 3 of last year ended with’Monkey’.
On the 8th (local time), the Supreme Court dismissed a lawsuit in which former President Trump claimed that there was a flaw in the Wisconsin voting process and asked to invalidate the results of the presidential election. Former President Trump filed a lawsuit alleging that the Wisconsin Board of Elections expanded absentee ballots by creating a vote-by-mail rule that defies state law. However, following the first federal trial, the second trial, consisting of three judges nominated by the Republican Party, was unanimously ruled against Trump and left it to the Supreme Court’s judgment.
Trump’s complaints didn’t work even for the Supreme Court Justices who were reorganized into an absolute conservative advantage. For the Supreme Court to accept the appeal, at least 4 out of 9 Supreme Court Justices, including the Chief Justice, must agree. But the fact that the appeal was dismissed means that at most only three people agreed with Trump’s claim. Even the propensity of the Supreme Court, where 6 out of 9 people are classified as conservatives, was not worth reviewing the plaintiff’s logic. However, the pros and cons of individual Supreme Court Justices were not disclosed. Trump didn’t make much of a comment.
This put an end to Trump’s challenge to object to the presidential election in the’official sphere’. He filed at least 50 lawsuits last year, alleging widespread misconduct during the postal and pre-voting process for the presidential election last year. Even after leaving office, he did not give up his stubbornness. In a speech at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) held in Florida last month, he repeatedly raised his voice, saying, “Elections were rigged and courts were bystanders.” However, Trump’s allegation of electoral fraud ended bitterly with a loss of court.
