The prosecutors and attorneys battled over the evidence and the bails of the arrested defendants.

In December of last year, the prosecution handed over three people, including Mr. A, a director-level official of the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy to trial.

It is alleged that 530 files such as Wolseong nuclear power plant were deleted or deleted before the auditor’s investigation, thereby damaging public electronic records and violating the auditor’s law.

Their first trial was held in the Daejeon District Court.

The defendants were not obligated to attend, but all three were in court.

From the first trial, a battle between the lawyers and the prosecutors’ office has been running.

The lawyers claimed that the case was not properly reviewed because the prosecution had not been able to access and copy evidence for more than two months.

In addition, I admitted that Mr. A said it would be better to organize unnecessary data, but emphasized that it is necessary to consider whether the deleted data is a temporary or intermediate version, and how related it is to the Wolseong nuclear power plant.

In response to this, the prosecution confronted that it had delayed reading and copying because it was investigating the related case, but allowed it on the 2nd.

The lawyers also asked the court to grant bail so that the two arrested defendants could see the vast amount of evidence in person and make a proper defense.

However, the prosecution gave the opinion to the court that the bail should not be allowed.

I was told that there was no change in circumstances after the accused were arrested.

The court decided to hold another trial preparation date on the 20th of the following month after conducting bail interrogation on the arrested defendants on the 30th.
