After the start of vaccination for the new coronavirus infection (Corona 19) in Korea, half of the first vaccination subjects completed the first vaccination for 11 days. As a result, since the start of vaccination in Korea on the 26th of last month, the cumulative number of vaccinations in Korea totaled 383,346. About 50.2% of 760,000 people who were given priority vaccination from February to March completed the first vaccination.
Of the total vaccinations, 375,138 people received the AstraZeneca (AZ) vaccine, and 6,208 people received the Pfizer vaccine. Currently, Pfizer’s vaccine is being vaccinated against the medical staff of Corona 19 treatment hospitals. Looking at 64,111 vaccinated people a day before, by province, Gyeonggi was 11,819, with the largest number of vaccinated. Currently, the government is vaccinating AstraZeneca and Pfizer vaccines at the initial volume.
Both vaccines require two doses, and the first dose is currently being administered. AstraZeneca vaccine will be given at 8 weeks and Pfizer vaccine at 3 weeks.
The promotion team aggregates and announces the status of vaccinations and the reflection of abnormalities on a daily basis at 0 o’clock. However, if the vaccination agency is late to register the vaccination information or vaccination history to the computer, there may be a slight difference in the number of vaccinations per day and the vaccination rate. The promotion team explained that 2,370 people who completed the first vaccination from the 2nd to the 7th were additionally registered the day before.
