As of 0 o’clock on the 8th, the number of reported cases of adverse reactions after vaccination against the new coronavirus infection (Corona 19) was increased by 226 from the previous day (3689) to a total of 3915. The death toll after vaccination increased by 3 to a total of 11.

According to the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on the day, 3866 cases (223 new cases) were mild cases such as headache, fever, nausea, and vomiting, which can be common after vaccination. 33 cases (0 new cases) were suspected cases of anaphylaxis, a symptom of sudden systemic allergy and respiratory distress. Five cases of serious suspicion, such as convulsions and admission to the intensive care unit, were also counted as five (0 new cases).

The Agency for Disease Control and Prevention is investigating the cause-and-effect relationship between vaccinations and deaths of three people who died the previous day.

Of all cases, 3896 cases occurred after AstraZeneca vaccine and 19 cases after Pfizer vaccination. Anaphylaxis, convulsions, and death were all seen in AstraZeneca vaccinations.

By 0 o’clock that day, a total of 31,6865 people, including AstraZeneca vaccine 3,11583 people and Pfizer vaccine 5,282 people, completed one dose.
