[의학신문·일간보사=김상일 기자]IoT solution specialist Bitkon (CEO Kim Min-gyu) announced that it will build an IoT technology-based control center for safe transportation and storage management of drugs such as Corona 19 vaccine.
The IoT medicine control center is operated using data collected through’T10′, a smart medicine refrigerator temperature management system developed by Bitcon.
During the entire process of transportation and storage of medicines, the temperature and humidity can be monitored through sensors for 24 hours and checked with a smartphone and PC, and real-time warning alarms can be received when an abnormal temperature is detected.
Based on the system established through T10 installed nationwide, Bitcon has built a drug control center to monitor the temperature information of vaccines and various drugs as well as the delivery route using GPS in real time, and establish a smart cold chain that can quickly respond to emergency situations. I plan to implement it.
Bitcon was selected as a’Seoul IoT Demonstration Support Company’ in 2018 by the Seoul Industry Promotion Agency, and installed T10 in Yeongdeungpo Health Center for the first time by local governments. Are being monitored.
Currently, pharmaceuticals are managed through T10 in a total of 2,000 places, including national research institutes and public health centers such as Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, Seoul National University, Asan City Health Center, and Hanyang Medical Foundation, and small and medium-sized hospitals.
CEO Kim Min-gyu said, “With the recent corona 19 vaccination in full swing, small and medium-sized medical institutions are deepening their concerns about drug management sensitive to temperature changes. We will do our best to support safe drug management by providing a system that captures all monitoring.”
