If the technology is transferred from a public institution and is located in a special zone and the research institution holds 10 to 20% of the company’s stock (share), it is subject to registration.
If you are registered as a research institute, you can receive tax benefits such as reduction of national and local taxes, as well as support for the entire cycle of commercialization such as commercialization and mass production (R&DB) projects, mass production technology development, and market development.
The research institute company created this time is a technology-invested company by the Ulsan Institute of Science and Technology (UNIST). GT Co., Ltd. has a technology related to the’metal-carbon dioxide system’ that converts carbon dioxide to produce hydrogen and electricity, and H&BGnomics has a musculoskeletal diagnosis technology through non-radiation.
The metal-carbon dioxide system possessed by GT Co., Ltd. reduces the harmful particulate matter and exhaust gases such as carbon dioxide (CO2), nitrogen oxides (NOx), and sulfur oxides (SOx) generated from factories and power plants, while simultaneously reducing hydrogen and electricity, which are eco-friendly energy sources. It can be generated quickly and accurately.

H&BGnomics Co., Ltd. is developing technology to diagnose musculoskeletal disorders by combining artificial intelligence (AI) and image data. The non-radiation method, rather than conventional computed tomography (CT) or X-ray, reduces the risk of radiation exposure and allows rapid and accurate diagnosis. It is expected that it will be used in the diagnosis of musculoskeletal diseases of workers and height growth of children in the growing season.
