Ryu Hyun-jin of Toronto in the US professional baseball major league gave a home run in two innings in the first appearance of the demonstration game, but showed relatively stable pitching details.

Ryu Hyun-jin, who struck out the first batter by 3 pitches, ended up lightly with only 9 balls.

In the beginning of the second inning, a solo home run that threw the cutter at Balaika after catching the lead batter with an outfield fly was a tee.

The follow-up hitter was struck out and walked to the next hitter, but finished the first demonstration match without any additional runs.

Two innings, one run and a home run were the only hits and runs, and one walk and two strikeouts.

I threw 30 balls mainly for four-seam and changeup, but I checked the pitch by sprinkling curves, cutters, and sinkers from time to time.

The Toronto club welcomed Ace’s first sortie by posting a photo on social media titled’Ryu Hyun-jin’s day to start is a good day’.

Ryu Hyun-jin, who prepares for the second season in Toronto, says he doesn’t feel the burden of being the best ace as he trusts his fellow pitchers.
