The Hyundai Seoul, weekend vehicle subtitle 2… Reduce the number of customers using the store at the same time by 30%

In’The Hyundai Seoul’, which opened in Yeouido, Seoul on the 5th, Hyundai Department Store autonomously implements a two-part system on weekends, reduces the number of simultaneous customers in crowded stores by 30%, and operates an advance reservation system to help them line up in front of the store Announced that it will be reduced.

It has devised measures to strengthen social distancing. Since the official opening of the store on the 26th of last month, a large crowd has gathered, and concerns have emerged that the quarantine of the novel coronavirus infection (Corona 19) may be disrupted.

The Hyundai Seoul is temporarily limited to vehicles with an even number at the end of the license plate on even-numbered days on the weekends (6, 14, 20, and 28), and the number at the end of the license plate on odd-numbered days (7, 13, 21, and 27) on weekends. It plans to induce odd-numbered vehicle visits. However, it is a policy that induces customer autonomy, and there is no enforcement.

The Hyundai Department Store Card member’s free parking benefit is also temporarily suspended on the weekend of March. Hyundai Department Store plans to send a text message containing this information to the members of the Hyundai Department Store Group’s integrated membership and notify it on the website to request cooperation.

On the weekends, information boards indicating the level of congestion in stores will be installed at the entrances, such as subway stations near The Hyundai Seoul, such as Yeouido Station and Yeouinaru Station, and underground walkways connected to the subway. The number of passenger elevator rides will be reduced from 24 to 15, and the number of indoor ventilation will be increased from 6 to 12 per hour.

An official at Hyundai Department Store said, “We do not plan to hold large-scale promotional events or events.”
