The agent of Doosan Bears Player A, who was accused of being a school violence perpetrator, stressed that it is more important to confirm the facts before legal proceedings.

Player A is suspected of violating and assaulting a baseball team junior in high school.

On February 21, an internet community revealed that Player A and player B of the LG Twins had suffered school violence. Mr. C, who claimed to be a victim, wrote, “I hope this opportunity will expose them to their bare face. I hope that they will not be able to raise their faces for life after receiving causal retribution.”

Accordingly, Doosan and LG conducted their own investigation, but it was difficult to confirm the facts due to conflicting claims between the player and Mr. C. Both teams have officially announced that they will withhold their judgment until the exact facts are clearly revealed.

First, Player B announced that he would take legal action, saying, “The fame was damaged by the spread of false facts and was innocently branded as a perpetrator.” On the other hand, Player A has not yet delivered a specific position.

Doosan had two meetings with Mr. C and continued to have interviews with Player A, and explained that “there was a conflict in the important part of the statement.” Player A conveyed his intention to the club, “I will double check the facts through the agency and determine whether it is true or not.”

Player A’s agency took a prudent stance. An agency official said, “The first thing to do is to check the facts through the company’s legal representative,” and said, “At the moment, I have nothing to say except for this.”
