Dongseo Foods stopped the advertisement in which the group April Na-eun (22) appeared. It is a measure that is conscious of negative public opinion as suspicion of Na-eun’s school violence (abusive) arose after the bullying controversy among April members.

On the 3rd, an official from Dongseo Food said on the Maeil Economic Daily Star Today, “In a controversy, Lee Na-eun’s post-conpurite bar advertisement has been stopped.”

Not only Dongsuh Foods, but also Samjin Pharmaceutical and Muhak Good Day, which had advertised with Lee Na-eun, stopped using comments on advertisement videos.

April, to which Lee Na-eun belongs, is receiving a keen eye for bullying allegations of former member Lee Hyun-joo. It is alleged that the members harassed member Lee Hyun-joo, who withdrew from the team in 2016. In addition, controversy over the remarks of Na-eun and Go Young-wook, suspicion of school abuse, and rumors of dating with Yoon Young, a former Ajax student, are drawing their tails.

April’s agency DSP Media denied Lee Na-eun’s allegations of school violence, saying, “Criminal complaints were conducted for cases of disseminating malicious synthetic posts and unfounded false facts against our artists,” but the controversy has not subsided.

The advertising industry is “stopping” not only Lee Na-eun, but also the controversial models.

Peripera, a cosmetic brand, chose Sujin, a member of the girl group (Female) Idle, as the main model, but after suspicion of being abusive arose, all photos were deleted. Another cosmetic brand, Clio, said that when Stray Kids Hyun-jin apologized for the controversy over the school bullying, “it immediately stopped all public relations activities related to the model.”
