Korean characters appear in’Dead by Daylight’ (hereinafter referred to as Devade), which is consistently popular as a horror survival genre game. The development team has made various updates including the addition of new characters and the 4.6.0 update of the user test server today.
In this regard, new characters appearing in the game are a new killer and two survivors, and the first Korean character appeared in the game. Among them, the new killer added under the name’Trickster’ is a character with the real name Hak Ji-woon, and the new survivor was added under the name Lee Yun-jin.
What’s eye-catching is that these new Korean characters are set to be related to’K-Pop Idol’. In the game, the killer character’Trickster’ is a setting that he was one of the members of the Korean idol boy group, and the survivor Lee Yoon-jin was his producer.
Until now,’Devade’ has been introducing various new characters through constant updates. In particular, when collaborating with various popular characters that appeared in horror movies and dramas, it is well known that it provides a technology that reflects the settings of the IP in the game as much as possible.
This’Trickster’ and Lee Yoon-jin were also armed with technology that actively reflected the setting of K-Pop idol. Meanwhile,’Devade’ has been continuing its service amid steady popularity since its launch in 2016. The new character is currently only shown in the test server, and the developer plans to show’Trickster’ and Lee Yoon-jin as official servers after testing.
