[스포츠서울 안은재기자]The coffee franchise Starbucks explained to the controversy that Sayuri, a broadcaster, was hit by the door because there was no QR code.
Starbucks made an official position on the 24th and said, “According to the government’s quarantine guidelines, we have carefully and kindly guided Sayuri to fill out the handwritten list after checking the QR code or ID card, and the same has been given to other customers who visited due to the fire that day.” Said.
He added, “We ask for your understanding as we have tried to comply with the government’s quarantine guidelines as much as possible. We will review and discuss various alternatives related to store use from various perspectives in the future.”
Earlier on the morning of the 24th, Sayuri posted a post through his social network service (SNS) that a fire broke out on the first floor of the apartment and evacuated with a 3-month-old child.
Sayuri said, “The young son was trembling in the cold, so he headed to Starbucks across the apartment, but the employee asked for a QR code, which is the COVID-19 prevention guidelines. He complained that he couldn’t bring his cell phone because he was evacuating urgently due to the fire, but the employee refused to enter until the end.”
“I thought how nice it would have been if I had to write down my personal information and allow entry like other stores,” he said. “I don’t want to let the store out because it’s cold, so I don’t have a cell phone,” he said. This is a situation where there is a lot of discussion online.
