On the 25th, Hana Financial Group held the Group Executive Candidate Recommendation Committee (Chuwi Lim) and Hana Bank Executive Candidate Recommendation Committee, and the CEO of five major affiliates, including Hana Bank, Hana Financial Investment, Hana Card, Hana Capital, and Hana Savings Bank ( CEO) recommended a candidate.
Multiple candidates, including Vice Chairman Park and Vice Chairman Lee Seung-yeol, were recommended for the new Hana Bank President. Vice Chairman Park was nominated as a single candidate at the Hana Bank Executive Candidate Recommendation Committee held on the same day.

Candidate Park was born in 1964, graduated from Seoul National University, and joined Hana Bank’s predecessor, Korea Investment Finance. He is currently serving as vice president of Hana Bank’s Digital Retail Group after serving as the head of Hana Bank’s Indonesian subsidiary, vice president of Hana Bank’s asset management group, and CEO of Hana Financial TI.
The company explained that he is the best person to inspire new vitality in the organization based on its rich experience and excellent insight in the digital, global, and asset management fields, which are becoming increasingly important in internal and external economic uncertainty and rapidly changing financial markets.
In particular, Candidate Park was highly praised for his experience as CEO at Hana Bank Indonesia and Hana Financial TI. The expectation that the experience as a CEO could play a big role in making Hana Bank a leading bank in the future was also reflected.
Vice-Chairman Lee was recommended as the new CEO of Hana Financial Investment. Vice-Chairman Lee graduated from Korea University and obtained a PhD in Economics from Jilin University in China, and served as an advisory professor at Beijing University in China. In 2011, he served as vice president of global strategy at Hana Financial Group.

Candidate Lee has been serving as the global vice chairman of Hana Financial Group since last year. He is a global expert with extensive experience in academia and finance, a global mind fluent in five languages, extensive knowledge, and a broad global network. The company explained that these capabilities contributed to the expansion of Hana Financial Investment’s global business, and that it was evaluated as the best person to lay the foundation for Hana Financial Investment to grow globally beyond domestic competition.
Meanwhile, Kyeong-hoon Jang, the current CEO of Hana Card, Gyu-sun Yoon, the current CEO of Hana Capital, and Hwa-kyung Oh, the current CEO of Hana Savings Bank, will be reappointed. It was recommended as a candidate for the CEO of each company based on good management performance.
Candidates for CEOs of major affiliates of Hana Financial Group are scheduled to be elected through the board of directors and regular shareholders’ meetings held next month.
