Oh Eun-young recalled that time, “normally doctors don’t get medical checkups well. I got it because I did a checkup at an alumni university hospital, but he said that there was a malignant tumor in the gallbladder. If it was malignant, I could live for about 6 months.” He added, “In the results of the medical examination, even colon cancer was found. If you had gallbladder cancer and colon cancer, you would live 3 months,” he added.

Oh Eun-young said, “When I entered the operating room, my son’s face came to mind like the sun,” he said. “I thought of going to the amusement park with my son one more time, playing with him, and hugging him once more.” Fortunately, the gallbladder tumor was found to be benign after the operation, and colon cancer was also in its infancy, so the treatment could be completed safely. He added that he has been in good health without recurrence for 13 years, which relieved everyone. Oh Eun-young said, “I felt that my relationship with my child would end only when I died. When I thought about it, there were so many things I couldn’t do. I went to the nail shop after leaving the hospital and it was good.”

Although he is a leading child and adolescent psychiatrist in Korea, he also confessed about the grievances he must suffer as a mother. “I didn’t pre-learn my child, so I thought it would be less difficult if I had ordered anything. I also felt sorry that my mother was Oh Eun-young and was hit by me,” he said.
