The following is the full text of Byun Jung-ha’s official position.

Hello, this is Jeongha Byun.

I am writing to tell you about my stories that have been on the Internet in recent days. There are certainly parts that I don’t remember, but first, I’d like to write down what I can tell you for sure.

I haven’t taken off the trench coats of my juniors at the time of Inha Airways and when I was in school, and I never had to run cigarettes or throw chopsticks. I took a leave of absence as soon as I was in 2nd grade, and when I returned to school a year later, I took classes in the same class as my juniors.

I read that I had been talking about bad things about my friend’s father’s job. When I first encountered the article, I contacted the friend mentioned in the article. Although our memories were a little different, as a result, I got to know the heart of my friend who was hurt by me, and I sincerely apologized.

Let me tell you about the article that the perpetrators of an assault case are my friends. I don’t know exactly how many perpetrators in the case were, but since I was a child in the same neighborhood with one of the perpetrators, I know who that friend is. However, they are not intimate people who are in contact or meeting.

When I was in high school, it seemed to me that I was harassing a girl with short brown hair… There was also an article that said. The friend mentioned in the article was naturally distant after graduation, so I do not communicate with each other at this time, but until recently, I had maintained a good relationship in school enough to hear news from my friends and check their safety. There is no fact that I bothered that friend who had been very close to me throughout my school days.

Lastly, I haven’t deleted comments on social media related to this incident, nor have I blocked the account that wrote the comment.

My school days were unusual. He was always a noisy child and sometimes made the surroundings uncomfortable with behaviors that were against his student status. For those who remember me back then, I know that my child has no choice but to remain a bad memory until now. I acknowledge and reflect on my past mistakes, and I apologize to those who have felt uncomfortable with my actions.

As I mentioned earlier, I think there are certain parts that I do not remember. If any of you have been hurt by my words and actions, please feel free to contact us and let us know. If I really hurt, I would like to sincerely regret and apologize.

However, we are going to take legal action against making stories that are different from the facts and moving them back and forth…and maliciously commenting on those unconfirmed posts.
