On the morning of the 25th, Mr. A, an employee of Hyundai E&C’s agency for the women’s professional volleyball team, was confirmed as Corona 19. On the 20th, when the Hyundai E&C and IBK Industrial Bank matches were held, the agency employee B, who did not come to the Suwon Gymnasium, was confirmed on the 21st, and other agency employees were tested and all were negative. However, a question was found in Mr. A’s test results, and Mr. A was tested for Corona 19 again on the 24th and was confirmed positive on the 25th.
The investigating authorities saw that A worked at the Suwon Gymnasium on the 20th, but the possibility of spreading it to contacts on the same day was slim. Accordingly, the public health center classified personnel who have been in contact with Mr. A as’close contacts’. The epidemiological investigator is checking the movements from the 22nd since the confirmed person A was self-quarantine on the 21st.
On the 25th, Hyundai E&C volleyball team conducted a corona 19 test for all of the players. If it is confirmed that no additional confirmed cases have occurred in the club and that Mr. A has not been in close contact with volleyball officials after the 21st, the women’s team can play the game normally.
KOVO said, “According to the Corona 19 Response Manual, if the range of contacts does not interfere with the league progress as a result of the investigation by the epidemiological investigator, the women’s division will run normally tomorrow (26th).” There is no women’s schedule on the 25th. On the 26th, a Suwon match between Hyundai E&C and KGC Ginseng Corporation is scheduled.

Meanwhile, the V-League Men’s Division will stop the regular league for two weeks from the 23rd after Park Jin-woo, the KB Insurance Center, was confirmed as Corona 19.
