The first vaccine delivery started at 5:30am, about 20 minutes ago.

There are 6 vehicles that first departed at 5:30 am, and they will arrive in 5 places in Gyeongnam and 1 in Andong in Gyeongbuk by mid-morning.

Then, after a while, two will depart for the Gyeonggi area at 6:20 am and 6 units for the Gyeonggi area at 6:30 am.

In the case of Jeju Island, the vaccine is being transported by ship, but the ship from Mokpo Port will arrive at Jeju Port in a short while.

Previously, the first vaccine shipments from the Andong factory yesterday were placed in a 5 ton truck for refrigerated transportation in a dedicated container and transferred to the Icheon distribution center under convoy of the military and police.

While on the move, the integrated control center checked the location and temperature of each transport vehicle and the temperature of the vaccine transport container in real time to ensure that there was no problem in maintaining low temperature distribution.

When the vaccine arrived at the distribution center, reclassification and packaging were completed for delivery to 1,909 nursing hospitals and health centers nationwide.

The historic vaccination starts tomorrow at 9am.

Residents and workers under the age of 65 in nursing hospitals, nursing facilities, and rehabilitation facilities nationwide are eligible for this vaccine.

93.6% of these have already indicated their intention to vaccinate

Before getting the vaccine, you must see a doctor and record in detail your history of allergies to drugs, cosmetics, food, and other types of vaccinations.

Also, if you have a severe allergic reaction such as anaphylaxis, you should not receive the vaccination.

If you suspect COVID-19 infection or your body temperature is 37.5℃ or higher, you should postpone vaccination.

The quarantine authorities plan to complete the vaccination of the vaccine introduced in the next month.

So far, the Ministry of Social Affairs has delivered it.
