‘Danal’, a company specializing in integrated payment business, announced that it will launch’Danal Mobile Prepaid Card’ through partnership with’UnionPay International’, a global payment company, and service it through’Paycoin App (Danal Fintech)’.
The mobile prepaid card to be released this time is designed to make it easy for customers to use their virtual assets in real life, and it can be used in overseas affiliate channels such as Amazon Shopping and iHerb as well as in Korea. Accordingly, it is expected that the difficult part of Amazon shopping with existing virtual assets has been resolved.
In addition, any Korean can easily issue it on the homepage and PayCoin app, and can be used after charging by credit card, mobile phone payment, account transfer, etc. Here, users can also charge with Paycoin (PCI) won, and bitcoin holders can also convert and use the won after charging through the bitcoin conversion service that opens in April in the Paycoin app.
In particular, this service is meaningful in that it can be used not only at the existing 60,000 domestic Danal affiliated stores, but also at 30 million global payment companies’ QR affiliated stores around the world (500 times higher than before). It also plans to support domestic QR payments and online payments through continuous collaboration, and increase payments at overseas affiliates, such as Amazon Shopping, which has a large number of domestic customers.
Danal CEO Park Sang-man said, “By providing this mobile prepaid card service, we will increase the influence of the global payment market. At the end of the year, we will issue physical cards to all domestic affiliates as well as over 56 million offline affiliates around the world. “We plan to open an era where virtual assets such as coins are used.”
Meanwhile, Danal signed a business agreement with UnionPay International in November of last year and is preparing to open the service in March. Through Danal’s subsidiary Danal Fintech, Danal acquired the status of a member company capable of promoting card issuance business for the first time in Korea. In addition, through collaboration with HAECHI LABS, various virtual assets such as Bitcoin in the Paycoin app will be converted to Paycoin, which can be used for 30 million affiliates.
