Huawei has imposed US trade sanctions against China. It is pointed out that US sanctions are being held for political purposes and will lead to technological decline.

On the 22nd, Huawei held a forum event’Connecting for Shared Prosperity’ as a pre-event for’MWC Shanghai 2021′. The forum was sponsored by UNICECO and was jointly hosted by Huawei, GSMA, and the Environmental Economic Research Center at Fudan University in China. More than 1,000 experts from 50 countries attended the forum to discuss the value of sustainable digital technology.

In a keynote speech on the theme of’Trust in the Power of Technology’, Catherine Chen, general president of Huawei’s public relations and external cooperation division, and an executive of the board said, “If we do not effectively suppress the digital platform led by China, it will be very dangerous to the United States. I recently read a report saying that 5G (5G) mobile communication is one of them.”

Technological advances are politicizing and sometimes used for malicious purposes. “Many people have come to disbelieve the power of technology because of fear and disbelief, and some are making every effort to impede the development of technology,” said Chen. “You have to believe in the power of this.”

He also mentioned 5G. General President Chen said, “Large-scale 5G deployment can already be found in many industries around the world. Every day, consumers are benefiting from 5G experiences, and industries such as ports, mines, and transportation are improving operational efficiency.”

Huawei ranked first in the world in 5G equipment, but is having difficulty selling it due to US trade sanctions. This is interpreted as appealing the industrial and economic effects of 5G investment.
