The Noodles Edition is a newly established organization under the National Police Agency this year to reinforce the police’s investigation capabilities as a follow-up measure to adjust the investigative powers of the prosecutors. On the 1st to 11th of last month, the possibility of recommendation from outside personnel was discussed as the National Police Agency conducted public recruitment.

According to the National Police Agency, on the 19th, the’Comprehensive Review Committee’ was held for candidates for appointment with external experts as the chairman. On that day, the National Police Agency said, “In-depth individual interviews, in-depth document screening, and in-depth internal discussions were conducted on the subject,” said the National Police Agency. “In consideration of the symbolism and importance of the first head of noodle headquarters, the committee needs to make efforts to select the best candidates from inside and outside the organization. He presented the opinion that it was.”

Commissioner Nam, from Jinju, Gyeongsangnam-do, graduated from Masan Jungang High School and the Police Department (5th), worked as the Chief of the Special Investigation Division and Criminal Division of the National Police Agency, and the Chief of the Gyeongnam Changwon Central Department, and dispatched from August 2018 to July 2019 from the Office of the Blue House of the Moon Jae-in Government Worked. Afterward, he returned to the National Police Agency as the chief of the Cyber Safety Bureau, was promoted to the police officer in December 2019, and served as the Gyeongnam Commissioner from last August. Kim Chang-ryong, who is from Hapcheon, Gyeongsangnam-do, is a junior and is from the same PK (Busan, Gyeongnam).

The Cheong Wa Dae and the National Police Agency initially considered collusion with the head of the Noodles Headquarters from outside, but the Moon Jae-in administration selected internal police officers from the Blue House, while some were undermining the original purpose of selecting a person who could ensure fairness and political neutrality in the investigation. Some point out whether it is not.

On this day, the National Police Agency said, “The head of the National Police Agency headquartered 18 provincial and provincial police officers with over 30,000 national police officers who are directly connected to the independence and neutrality of the investigation. We reviewed the purpose of the police law and the opinions of the committee and who are the right people to lead the police’s responsibility investigation in the future.”
