The forest fire that started in Gujaebong, Akyang-myeon, Hadong-gun, Gyeongnam, spread with strong wind.

Hundreds of people, including public officials, including special forest fire extinguishers, built fire lines to prevent the fire from spreading overnight.

In addition, 19 helicopters were intensively deployed as soon as the day dawned, quitting the flames earlier than expected.

As the forest fires spread to three locations at one time during the night, an evacuation order for residents was issued in the Hadong-eup Mukjeom Village.

To date, 21ha of forest has been reported to have been lost, and fortunately, no human injury has been reported.

The wildfire in Beolgok-myeon, Nonsan, Chungcheongnam-do, caught the main fire at around 9:25 am.

It is said that 3ha of forest fields have been burned since yesterday.

The first report was received at around 7:10 pm yesterday, but the day was low, so it was difficult to put in the helicopter right away.

During the night, an evacuation order was issued for about 40 residents.

A forest fire in Maegok-myeon, Yeongdong-gun, Chungcheongbuk-do, has also been reported to have caught a big fire at around 9:30 am.

It’s been 15 hours since the fire started.

Two helicopters and firefighting personnel are cleaning up the remaining lights on site.

About 40 residents once evacuated and now return to their homes.

The remaining fires are being cleaned up at the site, and the damage area identified by Yeongdong-gun reached 20 ha.

It is believed that the fire started because the residents did not properly dispose of the firewood boiler ash.
