Genesis, vehicle subscription service’Genesis Spectrum’ launches new product/ Photo = Hyundai Motor Company
Genesis announced on the 22nd that it has diversified the car model and price range of the vehicle subscription service’Genesis Spectrum’.
Genesis Spectrum is the first vehicle subscription service in Korea that allows users to easily use the models of the Genesis lineup by paying a monthly subscription fee. Unlike long-term rental, it can be canceled after only 1 month.
Genesis has newly introduced the’Single Vehicle Subscription Program’ to the existing program, which was able to replace the main models of Genesis such as G80, GV80, and G70 as needed for KRW 1.89 million per month.
The newly introduced single-vehicle subscription program is a product that uses one vehicle on a monthly basis without replacement. It is characterized by significantly reinforcing accessibility to consumer prices by presenting a subscription fee for each vehicle type that is set differently.
G70 is available for 1.39 million won per month and G80 is available for 1.69 million won per month. The G90, which had previously only been available for short-term subscriptions for 24-72 hours, is also newly added and can be used for 2.95 million won per month.
The benefits of providing a monthly subscription discount and premium on-site car wash service to customers who commit to a subscription for 3 months or more are the same as those of the previous program.
The benefits of the existing subscription program have also been enhanced. Genesis Spectrum offers a total of two complimentary 24-hour G90 subscriptions every three months to customers with 3-month and 6-month replacement plans. In other words, customers with a 6-month contract can use the G90 free of charge for up to 4 times each 24 hours.
The voucher can be used even when a customer in the metropolitan area temporarily visits Busan or Jeju.
Genesis plans to introduce the GV70 subscription product, a newly launched sports utility vehicle (SUV), this month. It will also sell a replacement subscription program that can be replaced once a month for only two models of the GV70 and G70.
A Genesis official said, “We will provide a differentiated experience unique to the Genesis brand by continuously enhancing products and benefits as well as introducing new vehicles including electric vehicles in the future.”
