The Tirol Hotel in Deogyusan Resort, Muju, Jeollabuk-do, where a fire broke out on the night of the 20th, is a hotel that gained popularity as Michael Jackson stayed in the past.

At the time, the police placed about 50 policemen at the entrance of the 5th floor of the hotel, and at the request of Michael Jackson, the access of the general public as well as the reporters was completely controlled.

While staying in room 501, Michael Jackson said,’Save our children and save our children’ with a ballpoint pen on the wooden side table (small table) next to the bed. Korea is’God’ and Muju is love. It also engraved the message'(LOVE and SAVE OUR CHILDREN. KOREA IS GOD AND MUJU IS LOVE. LOVE always)’ with eternal love. It has not yet been confirmed whether the side table in the room was destroyed by this fire.
