The spread of Corona 19 in the Gyeongbuk region, which has stayed in a single digit for two weeks, is centered on daycare centers in Gyeongsan and onsen baths in Uiseong-gun.
According to Gyeongbuk Province on the 19th, the number of cumulative confirmed cases in Gyeongbuk area as of 0 o’clock on the 19th was 3122 (including 48 from abroad), 22 more than the previous day. The number of confirmed cases by region is 11 in Gyeongsan City, 10 in Uiseong-gun, and 1 in Gunwi-gun.
Of the 11 new confirmed cases in Gyeongsan City, 10 came out of the daycare center where the group infection occurred the day before. It includes 7 families of a child in the daycare center, 1 teacher’s family, 1 acquaintance, and 1 child in contact with the student. Accordingly, the number of cumulative confirmed cases related to the daycare center increased to 24 (including 1 in Andong the previous day).
In Uiseong-gun, 7 out of 10 new confirmed cases were contacts with Uiseong 52 times confirmed the day before. Among them, it is known that it is difficult to classify the route of infection because they are also entangled with confirmed cases related to Uiseong Tapsan Hot Springs, where group infection occurred. The remaining three were contacts of pre-confirmations in Daegu the previous day.
In Gunwi-gun, one person was confirmed during the entire visitor inspection of Tapsan Hot Springs in Uiseong.
