This is because group infections are continuing in factories and hospitals.

In fact, there were 52 cases of group infections related to large-scale workplaces as of yesterday at 0:00.

There were 1,362 confirmed cases.

On average, more than 26 people were infected per case, raising the total number of patients.

In addition, infections among families during the Lunar New Year holidays, which were feared, are being confirmed one after another.

The proportion of confirmed cases whose infection route is unknown is close to 24% in the last two weeks.

It means that at any time, the embers of re-proliferation can intensify.

Vaccination is more urgent at times like this, and the government is accelerating preparation work.

In particular, today we conducted a delivery simulation training.

We practiced the process of safely transferring the AstraZeneca vaccine from the Andong plant to 25 public health centers nationwide.

Military transport planes and helicopters were also used for delivery to islands such as Jeju and Ulleungdo.

The list of people who will be vaccinated will also be confirmed today ahead of the first vaccination on the 26th.

With the corona19 vaccination starting next week in Korea, the government conducted a simulation training to deliver the vaccine of AstraZeneca, which is consigned in Korea, from the factory to public health centers nationwide.

AstraZeneca vaccine will be released from SK Bioscience’s Andong factory, which has a contract for consignment production on the 24th, and vaccination will be performed from the 26th.

The government practiced the entire process of sending the vaccine by land to a large distribution center in Icheon, Gyeonggi-do, and then delivering it to 25 public health centers across the country under a joint convoy of small decomposition special forces and police.

The training included delivery to the islands of Jeju and Ulleungdo. The vaccine is usually delivered to the island by ship or civilian aircraft, but the military used C-130 military transport aircraft and helicopters in this training, assuming contingency conditions such as bad weather. The transport process was also checked.

On the 3rd, the government previously conducted the first training to transport Pfizer vaccines to cryogenic distribution centers and vaccination centers right after arriving in Korea.

The AstraZeneca vaccine, which is the subject of today’s training, can be transported at 2-8 degrees of video, unlike Pfizer Modena products that require cryogenic distribution.

This vaccine has been approved as the No. 1 product in Korea, and will be given priority to hospitalized, residents, and workers under the age of 65 in nursing hospitals, nursing facilities, mental care and rehabilitation facilities nationwide from the 26th.
