This is the homepage of’The Giving Pledge’, a global donation club.
It was created by Warren Buffett, Chairman Bill Gates, and other billionaires, including Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg and Tesla executive Elon Musk.
The first Korean subscribers came to this charity.
The main character is Kim Bong-jin, the founder of the nation of delivery, and the elegant brothers chairman.
To sign up here, you’ll need to have over 1 billion dollars, over 1 trillion won of our money, and donate more than half of that fortune.
Chairman Kim’s property is known to reach KRW 1 trillion, including the value of stocks, and the donation amount is estimated at 500 billion KRW, more than half of this.
In his pledge, Chairman Kim attributed his success to society, saying that it is difficult to explain what he has achieved as much as God’s blessing and good luck because of a poor family situation.
He added that he believes that the value will shine even more when the wealth is shared according to the principle of consideration for the least beneficiary first.
Ten days ago, Kakao founder Kim Beom-soo, chairman of the board of directors, declared that he would donate more than half of his assets to solve social problems.
Chairman Beom-soo Kim is also a self-made founder who created Kakao by starting a PC cafe without any other property or social background.
While the heads of conglomerates have been relatively passive in donating, the so-called’Soil Spoon’ founder has led to a great social return, and a new wind is blowing in the donation culture.
