Actor Cho Byeong-gyu has taken legal action, denying the allegations of school violence that have recently been raised again.
On the 17th, HB Entertainment, the management company of Cho Byeong-gyu, said in a statement, “In order to hold legal responsibility for the indiscriminate malicious comments and spreaders of false information posted through the online community, our company officially requested a police investigation. We announce that we have started.”
He then emphasized, “We will no longer be left with regard to the offenses that mass-produce and spread malicious rumors against the actors involved, and will hold legal responsibility without any prejudice or agreement according to the results of future investigations.”
Earlier on the 16th, an online community posted a post claiming that Mr. A, who attended the same school in New Zealand with Cho Byeong-gyu, was victimized by Cho Byeong-gyu in 2011 as a group of verbal abuse.
Mr. A said, “There is no specific (school violence) case, and the agency is not constantly suing, so it seemed to be buried,” he said. “It was a pity to treat the victims.” “In conclusion, I didn’t use violence. “There was only verbal violence,” he said, “the evidence of attending school, the homestay people, and even my parents contacted me, so there are quite a few witnesses than I thought, and I don’t have to worry about complaints.”
This is not the first time that Cho Byeong-gyu has been suspicious of abusing. At the time of appearing in the 2018 drama’SKY Castle’, suspicion of being abusive in New Zealand was raised, and it was actively explained through a fan cafe.
