After a family gathering on the Lunar New Year holiday in Busan, a group infection in which six corona19 confirmed cases have spread to a rectal infection.
The city of Busan announced that as of the afternoon of the 16th, 17 new cases came out and the cumulative number of patients was 3056. Six of the new confirmed cases came from the parent insurance company. The company is the workplace of 1 in 6 people confirmed by a family meeting the day before. Earlier in the company, another employee was confirmed the day before. Among the family members, a confirmed person who was an employee of an insurance company also operated a beauty salon, and one visitor was infected.

Group infection at the funeral home was also confirmed. The quarantine authorities confirmed that a confirmed person in Ansan, Gyeonggi-do, who was confirmed on the 13th, visited a funeral home in Busan on the 4th. Accordingly, 66 visitors to the funeral home were surveyed, and as a result, a total of 17 confirmed cases were found in Busan, Ulsan, Gyeongnam and Seoul. On the 16th, 8 people were confirmed in Gyeongnam (3 in Gimhae, 2 in Changwon, 1 each in Jinju, Namhae, and Geoje), and 7 in Ulsan.
Meanwhile, the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention announced that through early supply negotiations with Pfizer, it will receive 500,000 Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine doses (1 million doses) ahead of time and 3 million (6 million doses) in the second quarter. If the Pfizer vaccine comes in within the next month, it will be possible to inoculate more than 370,000 people in nursing hospitals, facilities, and inhabitants aged 65 or older who were excluded from the AstraZeneca vaccine in the first quarter.
