According to the Central Defense Response Headquarters (Bang Dae-bon), on the 12th, a confirmed patient in his 20s died at the Good Healing Hospital in Busan. This patient died one day after being confirmed, and is the first Korean death in 20s as a corona 19 patient.
An official from Bang Dae-bon said, “The deceased has been hospitalized for a long time due to an underlying disease.” However, it did not mention the exact underlying disease.
The Good Healing Hospital is the place where the COVID-19 group infection occurred.
In Korea, 12 of the Corona 19 deaths occurred in their 40s and 6 in their 30s, but this is the first time a confirmed person in their 20s has died. In Korea, the number of cumulative confirmed cases in their 20s is the third largest after their 50s and 60s, but so far, no one has died.
