On the 30th of last month, hundreds of members of the KCTU and the KCTU collided at an officetel construction site in Incheon. Looking back at the reason, it was because of a one-month job. As most of the construction sites are filled with daily jobs, there is no choice but to cling to one-month jobs, and as a result, workers even have a fight.

This is an assault case on the 30th of last month at an officetel construction site in Cheongna, Incheon.
At that time, the KCTU side requested the police for punishment, claiming that the KCTU had committed mass assault.
The police formed a dedicated team to investigate.
The Korean Federation of Trade Unions is in a position that it is unfair.
It is that the company was’unfairly dismissed’ under the pressure of the KCTU.

The start of the fight is due to a one-month contract.
When the contract was over by the 31st of last month, the contract was renewed.
Industry insiders explained that it is customary to sign contracts on a monthly basis until work is completed.
However, most construction sites actually have daily contracts that pay a daily wage, so it seems that a one-month contract has the effect of guaranteeing employment.
This led to a fight between workers.
The construction company wrote a confirmation of the fact to the KFTU that “Unfairly dismissed a member of the KFTU due to pressure from the KCTU.”
An official of this company insisted, “It is true that pressure has been put in by the KCTU.”
In addition, he explained, “It happens frequently at construction sites nationwide.”
However, the KCTU’s position is not true.
The KCTU has no reason to demand the dismissal of other workers, and only cares about the job security of its members.
